Captain – it’s time to drop the anchor!
Our magnificent pirate ship returns from the rough seas this summer and will be moored on the ‘pop-up’ beach on the bank of the River Wharfe, outside the Cavendish Pavilion.
Let your little ones imagine they have taken to the high seas by captaining our wooden galleon. Once on deck little pirates can enjoy the ship’s slide, climbing net, climbing wall, pirates’ pole and ship’s wheel! And of course there is space to build sandcastles galore!
Parents can watch their children playing whilst enjoying refreshments at the Cavendish Pavilion.
Don’t forget your bucket and spade!
Useful Information
- The pirate ship is included in the Estate’s admission fee.
- We advise parking in the Riverside car park to easily access the pirate ship, this is the nearest car park to the pirate ship and Cavendish Pavilion.
- This is a family area, there’s no minimum age to participate. Children must be supervised at all times.
- We politely ask that dogs are not taken into the sandpit.
