Family Cycle Zone

The perfect spot to practise on two wheels

Bolton Abbey Family Cycle Zone

Saturday 7 May – Sunday 25 September 2022

We are ‘wheelie’ pleased to bring back the Family Cycle Zone this year – a great spot for little ones to build their confidence on two wheels! The original grass cycle track will be in place with the most recent additions in the shape of a level crossing and traffic lights for children to cycle over and through.

Situated adjacent to the Bolton Abbey Car Park, this space offers a safe area for children to learn and practice their cycling skills. With roads cut through the grass and road signs to mark the way, children can enjoy endless fun manoeuvring the roundabout and junctions!

The perfect spot for your little one to find their balance!

Covid-19 information

We want everyone to have an enjoyable experience and we have worked hard to deliver this event. Please help us by not coming to the event if you show any signs of COVID and respecting social distancing. While rules have been relaxed, we do still ask that you respect the space of fellow visitors and try and remain in your family groups. We do recommend carrying hand sanitiser and washing your hands at the lavatories before and after using the cycle zone.
