Family Cycle Zone

Grass paths, safe to cycle

28th April – 1st October 2018

The Family Cycle Zone is in an enclosed field adjacent to the Village car park. It offers a safe area for children to cycle, away from the hazards of traffic and pedestrians. With “paths” cut through the grass and road signs to mark the way, children can enjoy endless fun manoeuvring the roundabout and junctions!!! This is the perfect spot for your little one to gain confidence and find their balance.

Please bring your own bikes.

This is a free activity, the Estate admission fee applies.

The nearest car park is the Village car park. The car park is open from 9:00am daily. Estate admission times apply.

Refreshments and facilities are located at the top of the Village car park.

Families are welcome to picnic in the Family Cycle Zone, barbecues are not permitted here (however you are welcome to transfer to Riverside car park where barbecues are permitted).

The Family Cycle Zone may occasionally be closed on busy days or during pre-booked caravan rallies.

Roadworks on the Estate

The B6160 from the Devonshire Arms to just south of the Village Car Park will be closed for essential drainage works on the highway from 10/09/18 – 24/09/18 (dates may be subject to change). The road is then expected to re-open on two way traffic lights for remaining work to be completed.

The Estate will be open as usual throughout the roadworks with access via Halton East (single track in places and should be driven with caution), Embsay and Eastby or further north via Burnsall.

Keep an eye on our website and social media pages for current updates or visit the highways link for information https://roadworks.org/?tm=106416724
