1. Acceptance of Terms
Your access to and use of the Bolton Abbey website ("the Website") is subject exclusively to these Terms and Conditions. You will not use the Website for any purpose that is unlawful or prohibited by these Terms and Conditions. By using the Website you are fully accepting the terms, conditions and disclaimers contained in this notice. If you do not accept these Terms and Conditions you must immediately stop using the Website.

The contents of the Website do not constitute advice and should not be relied upon in making or refraining from making, any decision.

You agree to indemnify and hold Bolton Abbey and its employees and agents harmless from and against all liabilities, legal fees, damages, losses, costs and other expenses in relation to any claims or actions brought against Bolton Abbey arising out of any breach by you of these Terms and Conditions or other liabilities arising out of your use of the Website.
8. Severance
If any of these Terms and Conditions should be determined to be invalid, illegal or unenforceable for any reason by any court or competent jurisdiction then such Terms and Conditions shall be severed and the remaining Terms and Conditions shall survive and remain in full force and effect and continue to be binding and enforceable.
9. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the law of England and you hereby submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
10. Credit Card Payment
Chatsworth Settlement Trustees, owner of Bolton Abbey and Estate has taken all possible steps to keep your personal information and credit card details secure. We take the matter of internet security very seriously; as a result we utilise a Secure Socket Layer connection (SSL). Your payment will be taken by our secure payment provider, Sagepay and Paypal. Chatsworth Settlement Trustees, owner of Bolton Abbey and Estate does not store or have access to your card details. Terms and Conditions - Father Christmas Bookings
The Bolton Abbey Terms & Conditions for the online Father Christmas Booking form, please read carefully
1. Credit Card Payment
Bookings and tickets are non-refundable, exchangeable or transferable.
2. Additional bookings
Additional children cannot be added to a booking.
3. Gift collection
The event will go ahead in all weather conditions. If you are unable to attend, gifts will be available to collect for up to 5 days after your booked visit from the Village Shop.
4. Evidence of booking
Visits to Father Christmas will be granted on production of a printed paper copy of your online booking. Mobile devices will not be accepted as evidence of the booking.
5. Booking confirmation
Your booking and order confirmation will detail the names and ages of the children who are booked in to visit Father Christmas at Bolton Abbey. It is your responsibility to check the spellings and all details are correct before visiting as this is how they will appear on the children’s presents.
6. Bookings
If you have not made a booking for a child, they will not be able to visit Father Christmas or receive a gift.
7. Bookings made
All bookings to Father Christmas must be made prior to the day of visit.
8. VAT
All prices are inclusive of VAT.
9. Weather conditions
The car parks will be gritted if icy, however woodland and riverside footpaths on the estate will be untreated as rock salt harms the ground vegetation. Please ensure you dress appropriately and take extra care if visiting in such conditions.
10. Estate entrance
The Estate’s admission fee of £10 per vehicle, or £1 per person for groups of 12 or more travelling in one vehicle, applies.
11. Allocated times
While you have been issued with a time slot, we cannot guarantee that this will be the exact timing that you actually meet Father Christmas due to some children having more to tell Father Christmas than others. We will do our best to keep to time but please bear in mind it is not an exact science.
12. Photography
Photographs may be taken on your visit to Father Christmas. It would be appreciated if you could ensure cameras or camera phones are fully charged and ready prior to your visit in the Romany caravan as Father Christmas has a lot of children to see. Father Christmas is happy to have a group/family photograph at the end of the visit.
13. Event distance
Father Christmas is located a short distance from the entrance to Strid Wood (by the Cavendish Pavilion). It is approximately 400 metres from the Riverside Car Park and takes approximately 5 minutes to walk.
14. Weather event
This is a winter, outdoor event and therefore we urge that you wrap up warm and dress according to the weather.
15. Online booking availability
If the online booking system shows there is no availability on a certain date this means this date is fully booked and we will not be able to fit any additional children in on this date. Please check an alternative date.
Bonfire Night Terms and Conditions
The Bolton Abbey Bonfire Night Terms & Conditions, please read carefully
1.
Bookings and tickets are non-refundable, exchangeable or transferable.
2.
Admittance to the Bonfire event will be granted on production of a printed paper copy of your online ticket.
3.
Your booking and order confirmation will be emailed to you on booking. It is your responsibility to check all details are correct.
4.
Online ticket sales will close on 4th November 2017 or before subject to demand.
5.
Tickets sales on the night are subject to availability.
6.
All prices are inclusive of VAT.
7.
Please ensure you wear warm clothing and wear appropriate footwear. Walking boots or wellies recommended.
8.
The event takes place in the evening so it will be dark; please take extra care when walking around. Extra lighting will be provided but torches are advisable.
9.
Timings for the evening may change and are subject to the weather conditions.
10.
The event includes fireworks. Fireworks may not be suitable for young children. Fireworks are subject to strict health and safety laws. In certain weather conditions, such as strong winds or fog, it may be necessary to delay the start of the display or suspend the display completely if conditions do not improve.

Ticket prices are subject to change

Bolton Abbey Estate accepts no liability for loss, damage or injury to person or vehicles however such loss or damage is caused.
13.
You are not permitted to bring your own fireworks, alcohol, glass bottles, glass containers, gazebos, tented structures, barbecues, fires, cookers, lawn candles, Chinese lanterns, floating lanterns or naked flames to this event.
14.
Sparklers may be used within the designated sparkler area and must be disposed of safely
15.
No seating or shelter is provided
16.
No animals are allowed except assistance dogs.
17.
The bonfire takes place on the grass field next to the river Wharfe, adjacent to Riverside car park. There are no paths in this field.
