Dawn Chorus
Enjoy the sounds of Strid Wood coming to life
Sunday 28 April – 6.30am – 9.30am
Strid Wood’s sunrise symphony
Enjoy an early morning walk through Strid Wood with Ian Court the Wildlife Conservation Officer for the Yorkshire Dales National Park.
As you wander along the riverbank, Ian will help you learn to identify the song of different birds that call Strid Wood home and better understand the meaning behind their many other calls.
Spring sees the woodland come to life as birds start preparing their nests and dawn is the perfect time to see and hear the birds as they busy themselves while enjoying a morning sing song.
Numbers for this event are very limited so please book your place using the link below.
