Nymph Fishing Masterclass
Thursday 24th August 6.30pm – 8.30pm
Mark Whitehead, Bolton Abbey River Keeper, and local fishing guide, Oscar Boatfield present a tutorial on the River Wharfe presenting nymphing techniques for targeting fish below the water’s surface.
You will cover nymphs and their importance to fish, choosing nymph patterns, roll casts and overhead casts for nymphing, identifying subtle takes and strikes, Czech nymphing and high-sticking, and have an opportunity to practice and ask questions.

- – The introduction will take place on Thursday 24th August.
- – Parking will be in the Priory Church car park.
- – The introduction will start at the Priory Church 18:30 prompt.
- – The cost is £10 for members and £25 for non-members.
- – The event is suitable for ages 16+. Those aged 16-18 must be accompanied by a ticket holding adult.
- – Strong footwear and appropriate clothing is recommended.
- – Assistance dogs only.
