Pirate Ship and Pop-up Beach
Ahoy me hearties – All hands on deck
Saturday 25 May – Sunday 1 September 2019
Our magnificent pirate ship will once again be moored on the ‘pop-up’ beach on the bank of the River Wharfe, outside the Cavendish Pavilion.
Let your little ones imagine they have taken to the high seas by captaining our wooden galleon. Once on deck little pirates can enjoy the ship’s slide, climbing net, climbing wall, pirates’ pole and ship's wheel! And of course there is space to build sandcastles galore!
Parents can watch their children playing whilst enjoying refreshments at the Cavendish Pavilion.
Don’t forget your bucket and spade!
Please not: The Pop-up Beach will open on 25 May and the Pirate Ship will moor at the beginning of the summer holidays.
- This is a free event.
- The Estate’s usual admission fee will apply.
- This is a family area, there’s no minimum age to participate. Children must be supervised at all times.
- We politely ask that dogs are not taken into the sandpit.
